ISKME is committed to building awareness and use of accessible OER for all. As such, continuously improving the accessibility of ISKME's OER Commons platform is a high priority for ISKME and our Microsite partners. Over the next several months, users of our OER services can expect to see improvements and additional supports. Specific areas where we will be focusing our work include (but are not limited to) alt-text and ARIA descriptions for images, tools for checking resource accessibility in Open Author, increased screen reader supports, and improved color contrasts on site UIs.
